About NeoBasics
Complexity is often a way of hiding ignorance.
The number of theoretical models to manage complex matters I learned about throughout my professional life, are countless. Many of them have some very good reasoning behind them and/or are even an eye opener.
Unfortunately, some of them serve as an excuse to make decisions without fully understanding the background. A four quadrant diagram to distinguish cows from dogs is a helpful tool but only as good as the data one puts into it.
Those tools should not be a an excuse to skip hard work, experience and common sense. Keeping that common sense and getting back to that basic understanding and control – back to basics – is what NeoBasics stands for.
A no-nonsense approach and hard work are key words in the NeoBasics charter.
