About Eddy Vermeulen
At the age of 11, a school assignment on electricity, woke up my interest for technology. While completing successfully modern studies in boarding school, I continuously explored electronics as a hobby in various ways, and soon there was no doubt I wanted to pursue engineering as a profession.
My first working experiences were in the IT industry. The knowledge I gathered about IT in general, and networking in particular, turned out to be incredible value for the rest of my career: there are little domains in industry that are not affected by networking topologies and the world is only just starting to grasp the power of networking (think IoT).
I was lucky to work in a few high-tech multinationals which opened the world and made me aware about different cultures. As I grew into the job, both product- and project- management ‘an sich’ became a passion. While so many models and theories existed, it stroke me how many costly mistakes are still made in business decisions.
Curiosity is a blessing and it lead me to read and learn about the other aspects of business: finance, marketing, sales, venturing, … After all, isn’t a small INTRApreneur the most motivated employee?
Now is the time to share the knowledge and experiences, I was so fortunate to gather over the past 25 years and help other people and companies to be successful.
